How your hot air balloon flight unfolds
Unpredictability and improvisation are what drive a hot air balloon flight.
Your appointment with the pilot is set for around 7:00 am in Dingy-Saint-Clair.
Once the introductions are made, you take part in inflating the balloon! First, we lay the balloon out on the ground.
Next, we pre-inflate the balloon with a fan blowing cold air. A 20 m rope is attached to the basket and held by a crew member so that the balloon
does not rise too quickly.
While the balloon is at a standstill, we secure the parachute valve with Velcro at the opening located at the top of the
balloon.
Once inflated, it is time to climb aboard the balloon for an unforgettable journey. Once airborne, we hook up the parachute valve, held in place by the pressure.
During your flight, the balloon lets itself be guided by the winds: it is impossible to predict the exact landing spot! That is why our team follows you in a 4×4 throughout the trip to pick you up gently on arrival.
Once on the ground, you take part in packing up the balloon, a friendly moment that is part of the experience.
To finish in style, there is a little reward: champagne and cookies to celebrate this unforgettable flight!
